Loving all the feedback from Stay Home short film but I decided to do something really important and that’s got the Covid 19 Coronavirus test. Locally HealthCore Wichita set up a free testing site for anyone to get tested to see if they had the active virus. After 2 attempts I finally got tested and wanted to share the experience. As a minority and a citizen of a community, I want to know if I was asymptomatic or if my safety practicing has been working to help me avoid the virus. I don’t want to be a weapon upon others I could come in contact with just because I feel fine. In the video, I show you the check-in process along with being administered the test as well as some commentary as we wait. I did edit it down some since it was a lot waiting .
Watch Stay Home short film now. Please SHARE SHARE SHARE help me get this message out.
You know sometimes you plan something and have a vision and idea and its all plotted out and then all of a sudden the whole house comes down and you have to catch up. That is basically the story of Savage U. I contacted YBM Smoove earlier this summer with an idea to help promote the release of his new album “Wichita Savage University 2” and everything was go. Problem was that I didnt have time yet and I wanted to let him finish the project first. Fast Forward I cant ever seem to have enough downtime to really work with anyone and that be the only thing I have going. What I have yet to talk about and I will tease here is that I will soon be releasing art work for sale as well as People Collector merch but we will save that for another time but visit https://arowefilms.com/buynow. I have also been working on the podcast along with creating a new show and my usual doings with EFC. All of this made it hard to give Smoove a date and it has been a game of chase the mouse. Smoove opened for Cali’s controversial rap star Blueface and the way he talked the days leading and after I wasn’t sure if he realized how much things had just changed for him. I also didn’t know Continue reading
With the success of Wifi at Rock Bottom : Something about Meth documentary over the last 2 or 3 years it has finally hit a milestone I would have never imagined. BUT first… I have to say the documentary itself was meant to be just another doc I made to do work as an aspiring filmmaker and to do something that was inspired by my self-proclaimed mentor Sean Dunn. Since it’s released, the response has been incredible! Over the last year, I have received emails and comments almost daily. I would have never expected that I would make something that could create conversation beyond what is seen for a 30-minute flick of a girl just talking. Through all channels of viewing my free to watch documentary has been seen over 1 million times. I have not done near as much promotion to deserve that but the conversation has been one that has had a life of his own. I don’t know how people Continue reading
