We were very pleased to join the crew of Wichita’s podcast Legit Flavor with Chris Key and Janee Alexander to talk about Stay Home short film and how the idea came and the deeper message behind the story. As well we talked about my future plans, my feelings on the response, and they play a few games to understand who I am better. Great talk check it out below!
The past week as been unreal and we will talk more about it in future post. After a presentation at the 1 Million Cups we had the oppertunity to be a guest on the Video Live stream called BackSpaceLiveHH with Jen Cole. aRowe Films love being apart of historic moments and this was another one of those. WE discussed some of the projects we have created, the podcast, as well as some of the strategy in how I approach this whole new age of digital production and delivary. This week I pulled the curtain back and talked a ton about how we make things happen. Below is the live stream in full for those who missed it!

We had a great opportunity to interview an Amazing young business woman for my I’mKinda Famous podcast that you can find on iTunes. Chandali host of Tea Time with Chandi and owner of The Hair Store LLC impressed me in every way. From her charisma that shines heavy when she greets you to the confidence in her statements and opinions. The interview I know is going to be a hit. On my show, I always know the show is going well because I see the outro music coming and have to hit mute. As I have begun to adopt the “black NPR” concept I am learning how to make an interview a conversation and still dig deep into the layers of a person versus having them pitch for an hour. This episode we hit so many layers that I just know that many many people will walk away ready to go achieve their dream. I invite many of you to go listen and check it out especially if you have the aspiration to be self-employed. I really believe you will see her do something big in the near future because of the determination and spirit that leaks out of pores. Even after the show, we continued the conversation and I can tell she believes in her brand and understands some of the challenges she will face along with a plan to upset them as the empire she is out to create continues to rise.
With My show i try to do as much video content as possible and I was lucky enough to watch a Tea Time episode as she was recording it so recognizing something special was happening I began to film as well and came home and made this promo intro for Tea Time with Chandi. This episode I specifically wanted to be called Episode 24:44..I think its kinda clever since we spend the whole show talking about Jay Z‘s newest album entitled 4:44. It’s insane that im almost at 25 shows and its nowhere near slowing down. Working on some good sponsorship opportunities and meet and working with some dope people talking about funny, entertaining, and insightful topics. Its like the Black NPR but with Continue reading
